La Quinta by Wyndham Plantation at SW 6th St

You couldn’t ask for a better location. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The staff was nice,property was very clean,room was clean,except for a bunch of little tiny sugar ants all around the phone and table the phone sits on.

On our road-trip around south Florida we arrived here, late, after a full day at Kennedy Space center and then a three-hour drive south - and for shopping at Sawgrass mills the day after. Plantation was maybe the most humid place of our entire trip, but the hotel was cool and cosy and the staff friendly. Didn't manage to get an enough pillows or towels for all four of us, though, until we asked house-keeping. Minor quibble. Room, bathroom and beds were large but, as in almost all hotels we stayed along the way, the AC was noisy and rattly. The hotel itself was quiet and calm and fit our needs completely. Breakfast was fully adequate but why oh why is everything (in America?) single-use styrofoam, paper and plastic?

Great breakfast, variety of hot foods, cold food. Staff was always at front desk. I just didn't like having several people knock on my door at 11:15am, to tell me that check out is at 11am. I understand the 11am, but geez that gave me unnecessary anxiety as I waited for my ride. I paid for room and had no issues.
